Yasi Cyclon over Australia

We all know that tropical cyclones are impossible to stop since they are a natural hazard. This means that is a natural catastrophe that affects a certain population. This is why many people are frightened to the core about these events, and they are in all their rights. Just picture this: a very wealth country being destroyed from overnight without mercy by one of them, shattering thousands of houses, electricity poles and crops, people being forced forced to evacuate from their own city and even been killed. This happened is Australia Northern Queensland to be more preside. About midnight on Feruary 2nd of 2011, the tropical cyclone Yasi made its appeatance. However, it was formed in January 26 of the same year, when in January 31 it intensified to a Category 3. On February 1st, it transaormed in a Category 4 and reaching Category 5, the strongest section, the next day.
Cyclon Yasi was the biggest storm in Queensland's history. As I mentioned before, the aftermath was terrible. There was a affect on turrism, the environment, society and economy. Floods and the cyclon itself ruined most of the banana and sugar cane plantations, that cause an environmental and economic losses. National Parks and rainforest vanished, being the habitats of endangered spices. More that 100 thousand houses were lest without electricity and just one persone died because of the ingestion of poisoned fumes. $10 Billon USD were needed for cleaning up, and more for repaiments.
It is a fact that the australians people will never forget this, the devastation of their homeland. This will be a reminder for reminder for people, so they can be for next time more prepared for what will come after.
